FAI

In 2016, dancer/choreographer, Adriana Hernández and I collaborated to create "FAI", a dance inspired by our mutual experience with hip-surgery. In 2015, Hernández and I both had surgery for femoroacetabular impingements (FAI). We began creating material for this dance just three months after I had my surgery. "FAI" works to validate the injured/healing body, and allows the audience to witness the fragility and resilience of the human body.
